We were given the news earlier this week that Xbox might be planning some kind of Series X tie-in with Diablo 4, and now Microsoft has revealed that it will take the form of a special Xbox Series X bundle that will launch on June 6th. This news was a treat for us, as it came shortly after we were given the news that Xbox might be planning some kind of Series X tie-in with Diablo 4. This package can be pre-ordered today from participating retailers for the price of $559 USD. It includes an Xbox Series X console, a controller, the game Diablo 4, and a Light-Bearer Mount with Caparison of Faith Mount Armor.
Along with some additional goodies, here is some additional information about the previous part:
You will be able to use the Light-Bearer Mount with Caparison of Faith Mount Armor for Diablo IV once you have unlocked all of the mounts in the game. This mount is included with the bundle. To purchase this item, you must have a Battle. net account.
The bundle also includes the Inarius Wings and the Inarius Murloc Pet for the PC and console versions of Diablo III, the Amalgam of Rage Mount for the PC version of World of Warcraft, and the Umber Winged Darkness Cosmetics Set for the mobile version of Diablo Immortal. These items are geared toward fans of Blizzard's other games. These games are not included in the Diablo IV bundle and must be purchased separately. They also require a Battle. net account. You can tell from the picture that the Xbox Series X console included in this bundle does not feature any kind of unique design. As a result, the reason you are required to pay the additional cost is because you are purchasing access to Diablo 4 along with some of those bonus items.
Strongholds in Diablo 4 and an Explanation of the Rewards
You will need to search the map thoroughly in order to locate the red skulls that indicate the locations of the strongholds on your map. For instance, there have been a total of three Strongholds discovered up to this point in the game's first area, which is called Fractured Peaks. Strongholds are described as follows within the video game:
Heroic explorers have the ability to clear out Strongholds such as this one, reclaiming them for the people of Sanctuary once they are free of their enemies. The town will never be the same again, but victory here has the potential to leave an indelible mark and turn this dangerous area into a haven of peace.
In Diablo 4, finishing Strongholds has a long-lasting effect on Sanctuary. It is essential to note that Strongholds are one-on-one encounters, just like the story campaign. This means that it can be finished Solo or in a Party, but while you are battling in a Stronghold, you won't see any other players around who aren't in your party.
When a player has finished building a Stronghold, the location will change into a public area where they can interact with other players who have also finished the Stronghold.
The Rewards of Diablo 4 Strongholds
As a reward for completing Strongholds, players can claim a wide variety of rare and shiny loot. We anticipate high-tier legendary loot, materials, and other items from your level of play. However, there is a great deal more to be gained from Strongholds than just loot and experience.
Renown Points will also be awarded to players of Diablo 4 based on the region in which they have successfully completed a Stronghold. Based on the information provided by the beta, we believe that players will receive one hundred Renown Points for each Stronghold they own.
In addition, once you have finished a Stronghold from start to finish, you may be eligible for additional world rewards. These may include the unlocking of new quests, dungeons, and Waypoints. As a reward for completing them, some Strongholds provide shortcuts to other parts of the map as well as new non-player characters to speak with. Additionally, the introduction of new merchants and new lore details, as well as the potential opening of a new route leading to an Altar of Lilith, are possibilities.
Soon, announcements regarding changes to Diablo 4 based on beta feedback will be made.
The recent beta test for Diablo 4 will have provided the game's developer, Blizzard, with a lot of food for thought. Throughout the testing period, which took place over the course of the past two weekends, players were strongly encouraged to provide the team with any and all feedback. Given that the beta had a decent amount of content, it is reasonable to assume that Blizzard will give the aforementioned feedback a lot of weight when making decisions about the game.
According to the general manager Rod Fergusson, the issues will all be addressed within the next couple of weeks by the developer. We are currently going through all of the feedback that you have provided, and we will provide an update in a couple of weeks regarding what we have heard and what we are working to address. He writes that he is grateful to those who helped test the beta version and for their patience while the team worked through issues.
If you participated in the beta, you are probably interested in learning what might be different in the final release (which will still take place on June 6), which is still scheduled for this month. We anticipate that Diablo 4 will be subject to a large number of changes once it has been released to the public, but we are keeping our fingers crossed that the beta will prove to be beneficial in enhancing the launch of the game.
